In 2010, the Tour is back to Morzine! The finish is uphill in Avoriaz this year and they are up to 3 days in the resort for the rest day takes place here as well.
Specifically:
- Sunday, July 11th arrival at Avoriaz during the 8th stage: Station des Rousses - Morzine Avoriaz.
- Monday, July 12th rest day.
- Tuesday, July 13th departure of the 9e stage: Morzine - St Jean de Maurienne.
From Saturday the 10th we organize a special Tour Package consisting of the usual arrangement including breakfast, packed lunch, dinner, drinks during meals and Le Touriste cycling outfit (check out here for an overview of the entire package), supplemented by voluntary participation in the joint view of the final climb to Avoriaz on the 11th (we reserve the most beautiful place in terms of the climb and will take care of a snack and a drink) and a joint cycling to the top of the Col de la Colombière where the riders come through on Tuesday 13th when they head to St Jean de Maurienne. This is the first climb of the day so we are back in time to watch the finish on TV for those who want to follow.
