Le Touriste is also a great place for a cycling holiday/training’s week. At the foot of the Col de la Joux Verte and the notorious Col de Joux Plane, there are many cols for road cyclists to climb into one or more small loops and is also very suitable for those that want to go climbing for the first time or for those with little fewer miles on the counter. For the mountain biker there is the famous Portes du Soleil with over 450 km of trails literally at your feet. Furthermore, through the summer season around, especially in June, a number of cyclo’s (races) are organized.
A cycling holiday in Le Touriste is slightly different than in a guesthouse or hotel. With your fellow travelers you have your own apartment or chalet instead of a hotel room. In nice weather we eat on the terrace or in the garden and otherwise in the privacy of your own apartment or chalet with your own group.
