We are Kim and Gerard Dekker, both Dutch. 9 years ago we fell in love with this area and decided to settle with our son Mick. Having started with the rental of apartments in our own farmhouse we now manage and/or rent a number of chalets where we also offer our catering.

Gerard has a long history in the hotel/restaurant business, such as co-owner and manager of the cafe restaurant of the famous HOTEL NEW YORK in Rotterdam. He exercises his old job now on very small scale. Good cooking for his guests and ensure their every need. See also www.snowcook.com.

Kim has a background as a sports instructor and has worked with animals. She now is a ski instructor and independent Herbalife distributor. This is a company in which sells food supplements. Mick was 10 weeks old when we came here. He grows up in such an active region with so much space it’s like a small paradise. He feels a genuine Frenchman and his French is better than his Dutch. Hence, he makes those crazy phrases! He is very sporty and is with the local ski club and plays football and ice hockey.
